| The Glacier bus 2010 | The bus goes 2 times daily to The Glacier Museum and the glaciers, and return to Mundal quay: from Mundal to Museum: 09.55* and 13.30 from Museum to glaciers: 11.20* and 14.35 from glaciers to Museum: 13.10* and 15.05 from Museum to Mundal: 13.20* and 15.15 *only in June, July and August. The first departure goes to both glaciers (Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen). The second departure goes to only one glacier, the Bøyabreen. The bus corresponds with the carferry/boat. From Oslo or Bergen you can go by plane to Sogndal, Førde or Sandane airport. With car you follow route 5 from Skei (north of Fjærland) or Sogndal (south of Fjærland. Travelling time by car to Fjærland from: - Balestrand: 1,5 h - car ferry in summer - Hella: 1 h (car - 70 km) - Skei: 0,5 h (car - 70 km) - Førde and Sandane airport: 1,5 h (car - 80 km) - Sogndal airport 1 h (car - 50 km) - Bergen: 4-5 h (boat, bus, car) - Oslo: 6-8 h (boat/train via Flåm, bus/car via Lærdal) |
